From the shore Ransvik is generally rocky to about 10m/33ft depth. To the west the landscape is dominated by large boulders that provide plenty of shady cracks and crevices. Fields of eel grass and sea lace adorn the shallower parts. Making a loop straight out from the shore then turning right when reaching the soft bottom before gradually ascending the slope provides plenty of opportunity to experience the rich variety of marine life. To return simply make a U-turn, staying fairly close to the shore before reaching the entry point again.
