Santa Rosa Wall's magnificent topograhy of steep, rugged coral walls and outcroppings dropping down to 40m/130ft are filled with beautiful colonies of tunicates, giant Caribbean anenomes and gorgonians. With impressive swim-thrus and deep channels where huge barrel sponges and vibrant twisting rope sponges splash purples, oranges and bright yellows into the shadowy passageways and schools of grey snapper shelter from the current. Across the reef ridges coral encrusted overhangs and dark crevices drip with hanging vines, sea lettuce and feathery hydroids providing secret places for spotted moray and splendid toadfish to hide away.
