Punta Tunich

Large, rolling hills adorned with vase sponges, fire corals and brain corals are inhabited by pretty bicolour damselfish, blue chromis and juvenile wrasse. Large schools of porkfish, French grunt and schoolmaster snapper shelter from the current beneath overhangs that are painted with vibrant encrusting sponges of scarlet, yellow and burnt orange. Black feather hydroids, sea fans and huge barrel sponges decorate the sloping ridge line as it drops precipitously into the blue.
