Paso del Cedral

Cedar Pass

With a long, sloping topography, moderate to strong current and an abundance of marine life, Paso del Cedral is a great site for photographers. A beautiful, healthy reef filled with outcroppings of vivid purple vase sponges, brain corals and gorgonians where rainbow parrotfish and French angelfish search out the busy cleaning stations. Impressive, towering coral structures carve stunning channels and swim-thrus across the sandy bottom where southern stingrays and peacock flounders nestle, perfectly camouflaged in amongst the rubble and seagrasses.
